We have in-depth knowledge of planning processes and current building practices, meaning that we can bring benefits to local communities by bringing brownfield sites and disused buildings back to life. We can also bring forward greenfield sites enhancing their potential. Being privately owned and operated, decisions can be made quickly by the people that are involved with the projects day-to-day.
The company focusses on:
- Outright purchase of land which can be brown or greenfield with a view to finding the best solution for development.
- Site Option Agreements, where land is purchased on a “subject to planning” basis and risk and planning costs are shared. Ascalon Properties bring their expertise in attaining planning consent to deliver best value to both parties.
- Site Promotion Agreements, where we can help gain planning permission for sites in return for a share of the uplift in value that planning approval creates. We share costs, risk and expertise with landowners in an incentivised arrangement that enables sites to be brought forward and their full potential realised.
